Košarkašice Budućnost Bemaxa šest dana nakon velike pobjede u derbijuu protiv Celja otputovale su za Montanu, gdje ih sjutra (17h) očekuje duel protiv istoimenog vicešampiona Bugarske.
Podgoričanke su savladale Celje većom razlikom nego što su poražene u Sloveniji, pa dva kola prije kraja i dva meča protiv Montane imaju jasnu situaciju – jedna pobjeda garantuje im prvo mjesto pred fajnal for. ,,Plave” su vezale četiri trijumfa, a duel u Montani posljednje im je gostovanje pred završni turnir. Bugarski tim ima tri poraza, ali ima računicu da bi sa dvije pobjede do kraja mogao da bude prvoplasirani na kraju, što znači da sjutrašnji duel može riješiti sve ili donijeti totalnu neizvjesnost uoči posljednjeg kola.
– Poslije važne pobjede u derbiju protiv Celja sa puno motiva odlazimo u Montanu. Znamo da se radi o ekipi koja ima dosta iskusnih igračica, većina je već neko vrijeme zajedno, dobro se poznaju i činjenica je da su jedna od najiskusnijih ekipa u ligi. Ali, nošene trijumfom protiv Celja odlazimo da pokušamo da već u Montani završimo posao i osiguramo prvo mjesto. Po svemu prikaznom u ligaškom dijelu zaslužile smo da budemo prve pred fajnal for i vjerujem da ćemo u tome uspjeti – kazala je Dragana Živković, kapitenka Podgoričanki.
Dueli Budućnosti i Montane obično su donosili prilično neizvjesne mečeve. Montana je takođe u seriji od četiri pobjede, savladala je Orlove, nadoknadila minus protiv Vojvodine i sigurno da je među glavnim kandidatima od starta za visok plasman.
– Očekuje na zahtjevna utakmica, jer je Montana ekipa koja svaku nepažnju kazni, tako da moramo biti oprezne svih 40 minuta. Montana je neugodna na svom terenu, ima posebnu podršku sa tribina, dobre šutere, iskusnu Litvanku i Amerikanku, ali vjerujem da ćemo pokazati da smo u dobrom ritmu i da možemo nastaviti niz – dodala je Živković.
